Isn't there a console command that you can use without sv_cheats on? (For left-hand)
If not +1

 

In a couple source games the command is cl_righthand 0 but I have checked and the command hasn't worked I have found an addon that claims to add that command don't think it works though https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=576072800
