-Fire rate or -Spread. It's so fucking strong to the point of me avoiding to buy it because if I die and a traitor takes it the traitors basically already win. But seriously, Jackhammer is basically the only good buyable detective equipment next to radar and HP station. Binocs take 5 years to scan, UMP's damage is absolutely horrid bc of the gimmick, and the intervention basically has a slug controlling the scope. Maybe a buff to the other D equipment would lead to an indirect drop in Jackhammer usage? :thinking: wtf this wording is trash



Nerf the sniper spread/fire rate -OR- buff other D equipment

 

While we're at it can we nerf Deagle headshots so they're not one hit kills xd

The Jackhammer is easy to overpower if you use your mind right. Get him with a knife or harpoon. When he puts it away or turns his back, take him out. If you were already called out, that's too bad, be more sneaky next time. Or pick off the Detectives at the start

Because it never needs balancing changes. I think there's at most 2 items that were modified since late 2016 from sources in SB. Those grievances, whatever they were, were likely not as petty as this.

 

but what's wrong with trying to change the meta in a game that's been, like you said, the exact same for so goddamn long. Not that I agree with this specific suggestion, just more in general.

Add new weapons. Changing the same weapons will still produce the same humdrum you're referring to now. To keep their essence, you can't change them too much therefore the changes won't feel like anything new. If you want something fresh, it's new weapons you want.
