Ok, so, as a detective, when you id a body, you get this message, "Using your detective skills, X, the killer, or a coincendence? Can we kos X for that? Why I ask? Because i'm being harrased for following the kos on that message.
You're speaking of the "The last person seen..." message that comes when you check a dead body as a detective. The reason that this does not work is because some players can be looking elsewhere when they get shot in the back or the side of the head. So, there's always a possibility that the last person they saw was the killer, but there is also the possibility they aren't. High suspicion can only be given with this situation.
If you have bought a visualizer, and the victim was staring DIRECTLY at the killer, and it corresponds with the last seen, then you may. This is the only time you may. @Sinz or @Event Horizon to clarify/clean up this if I'm horribly misinformed.
Can also be helpful against snipers, if you place it down instantly. Where it traces back to, leads you to the killer.
