Answered In game volume too quiet.

    for about a month or so my volume in game has been wayyyyy too quiet. I have no clue how to fix it. My in game volume is all the way up, my pc's volume is at 100, ive tried playing with and without discord being in the background, and I still cant figure it out. I can hear clearly if i watch someone else's video of ttt while in steam overlay, but i cant hear that clearly on my own. Please help!

    EDIT: on my macbook pro it sounds fine, but on my pc it's wayyy too quiet.

    As ryan said, check volume mixer. Do this by right clicking the speaker icon in the bottom right and then left clicking volume mixer.

    If this doesn't help go into GMod settings and make sure both of these are true, and change them accordingly if not:
    -Your in-game volume is at a decent level (about 50-60)
    -GMod is playing audio through the right channel

    If you go into your sound settings, turn loudness equalization on; that sometimes fixes it.

    Do what was said above first.

    Check if any programs you have open have settings for "turn down other volume when this is open" ik various voice programs have/had that
