Something I have been pondering over is the difference between Staff and non staff when they have to provide evidence, is that reporters, have to provide video evidence.

But when a report against staff or an appeal to get unbanned for micspam shows up, all the evidence that are given is a screenshot /cutout of the chat showing the offenses they got warned on, but not, at all/often what they got gagged for.

Is it evidence that are given to an upperstaff to confirm that the actions was made correctly, to avoid others listening to earrape?

Or why is it handled the way it is?

I mean it's likely, considering that staff record most if not all their sessions, that includes their staff info, which obv. is bad for it to be leaked.

As you accurately surmise, we are expected to have complete evidence for all punishments given.
For RDM; we need logs to prove the damage happened and that any defense was illegitimate.
For micspam, we need proof of warning+gag and rgag, as well as proof of the spamming ever happening.

And when appealed/reported, we need to provide evidence to prove that the offense was committed and punished appropriately. Sometimes, this can involve inappropriate material or staff information, in which case it can be excluded, as long as evidence is available to their superior for verification.

If you notice inadequate handling of a situation, by all means question it and bring it up with them/their superior.

You're right. If he handle appeals or reports, we usually just show the warnings and not the micspam itself.
It's just like Agent already mentioned. Our recordings would probably show a lot of staff information. Censoring all that would take a lot of time.
We always have evidence for these offenses. If someone has doubts about the warnings given, or doesn't agree with them we are able to provide the evidence in the report, or show it to a superior.
We never issue punishments without the proper evidence. If a staff member can't provide evidence for a ban, that player will be unbanned and the ban will be voided.

    Tl;dr
For micspam bans, we usually just show the warnings as it would be very time consuming to censor our recordings, but we have the evidence if needed.
