I know this is a no go on TTT for obvious reason. But on DR we have to deal with people spamming etc and it can take a while for staff to come. Allowing a highly trusted rank, like Elite to votekick would help fix.
If a staff member is needed, even on Deathrun, it's best to ask in the shoutbox. Though there's not many of us yet (I trust this will be fixed in the near future), those of us that are volunteering to staff the Deathrun server wont mind hopping on for a few minutes to deal with something, all you have to do is ask us directly. I myself am usually available in the afternoon time clear through to the night, and my schedule will include mornings sometime soon.
They have a button to mute individual players for a reason. It's very convenient. I would even argue that it's easier to just mute the player than actually opening the steam overlay to message a staff member.
