my memories of the past here are basically just random still images, as if while playing TTT on vanilla I accidentally tapped the prntscreen button and captured an image of some random bullshit, and then later in life i'm looking back on my old screencaps (memories), and i'm like "huh, why did i take a screenshot (remember) this?", but also, "ya that was fun". haha just kidding i am just looking at my old screenshots. not my actual memories i don't have photographic memory. if i did have photographic memory i would take some memory photos of naked ladies on google images for times when the power goes out so i don't hav to try and draw hentai by candle light.

Nostalgia sucks. Fundamentally, besides a few changes to the rules and content, this place is practically the same as it was when I first joined. What is really different is the people. I do yearn for the olden days, like back when I first got into these servers (2014-2015) but i'm not in any hurry to go back there. The people that are here now are just as cool, and i'm happy that I know a lot of you. That being said I don't particularly remember the staff being better back then anyways. I know everyone compares us to back then, but let's be real, the staff back then were robotic and staffed to the point of near exhaustion. Not to mention the constant in fighting that was happening between the admins and their teams. Hell, I remember the petty little feuds and the tiny little cliques that formed. Maybe because I can take off my rose tinted glasses I guess. Either way, i'm of the opinion that this place was always good. Fight me nerds.
THIS. Just the fact that the staff members from 2013 were arguing over a pornstar's completely normal photo being used as a profile picture proves that there was a clear lack of chemistry between the people in the staff team (not that I'm defending Snak for all the stuff he did, I didn't like him then, but I just think that particular situation is stupid). People look at the good parts of the past and think that's what defines it, but that's just lazy to assume. Hell, there were members of the staff team then that were conspiring against the community. And history repeated itself in 2017. Come on you people.
