So in Rainbow 6 Siege, anyone can place a "ping" down that is a 2d marker that shows through walls for all teammates. It'd be cool if detectives could buy a weapon (slot 7 or 8, not an on body item) and then mark every 5-10 seconds. This would be great if you were shooting at a traitor and marked the location, all innocents would know where the traitor was. Perhaps allow for certain ammo, slot variance, or credit cost to balance as needed.
SUPER Ghetto video that shows what it looks like. The red blip is what I am talking about, granted this is spotting a players exact position, it would actually be wherever the detective is aiming.
I wouldn't mind the idea as long as it doesn't take up half of my screen or show only half of the time like T-Trap indicators. +1
