These are the 6 main rules that apply to any player that wishes to join the Deathrun server:
1. No ghosting.
2. No spamming or harassing other players.
3. No porn, gore, or disturbing avatars/content.
4. No deathavoiding
5. No teamkilling.
6. No unreadable or inappropriate nicknames.

The following are the Deathrun rules of SGM. Please take a moment to look over these so that you may be better fitted to play on our servers.

Teamkilling:
This is simply the act of killing another play on your team, whether accidental or intentional. Nearly every single map allows for teamkilling, such in a way that involved going into the Death's area as a runner and either using the traps, or running into a hazard that gets the other runners killed from it.

Trap Claiming:
The gamemode allows for multiple deaths as the population of the server increases. With the increasing amount of deaths, there is an ability to claim traps to prevent other deaths from using them. Abusing this will result in punishment.

Death Avoiding:
Being a death is a part of the game, and it's role is to attempt to stop the runners with the various traps and obstacles built into the map is an extremely important one. It is punishable to avoid the role with the various ways listed above in the "Main Rules" portion of the guide.

Macros:
Macros and workshop addons that give a significant unfair advantage to gameplay and are indistinguishable from Hacking or other forms of cheating will fall under our Hacking Protocol and will be punished accordingly.
These type of macros/addons include (but are not limited to):

• Shooting and Aim Adjustment

Examples of Macros not included in this rule:

• Regular engine binds

Since bunnyhopping is a part of this gamemode (with the addition of the autojump function in the F1 Menu), bunnyhopping is not a macro unlike the TTT counterpart.

Misc. Rules:
Point farming: Point farming on an AFK account is allowed on our servers. However, you may only do so on a single account across all SGM servers at a time. Violation of this rule will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Free Runs:
Free runs are allowed as long as the Death calls the Free Run. FR is also a valid call for a free run. Free runs must be called at the start of the round, within 5-10 seconds. If there is more than 1 death, both have to agree and call it. If 1 calls it, but the other does not, or one does not wish to do a free run, then there will not be a free run that round.

NOTE: If you call a free run and you still end up killing runners with BUTTON traps, it will be considered death avoiding.

These are the punishments for Deathrun, which are all based on offense counting. As the number of offenses increase, the harsher the ban will become. These are subject to change under an administrator or higher's discretion.

Types of Punishments:

Punish: This allows for a player to automatically spawn as a death next round. This is generally used for when a player death avoids.
Mid-Round Slays: This type of slay allows a staff member to kill a player in the middle of a round.
Mutes/Gags: These prevent a player from speaking into their microphone and/or sending messages in chat. This is generally used to stop a player from chat/voice spamming.
Kicks: A player is forcibly disconnected from the server. They will be able to join the moment they can once more, and this is generally used for harassment and inappropriate names.
Bans: A ban is used to generally prevent a player from connecting to a server for a duration of time. They can last for mere hours or months depending on the severity of the punishment.

Punishments:​

Death Avoiding/Team Killing/Exploiting:
First Offense: Slay (And punish if death)*
Second Offense: Kick
Third Offense: 24 Hour Ban
Fourth Offense: 5 Day Ban

*A slay is given to those trap spamming, which is also a form of Death Avoiding.

Mic/Chat Spam:
First Offense: Gag/Mute + Warning
Second Offense: Round Gag/Mute
Third Offense: 8 Hour Ban
Fourth Offense: 24 Hour Ban

Harassment/Improper Name Usage:
First Offense: Warning
Second Offense: Kick
Third Offense: 24 Hour Ban
Fourth Offense: 5 Day Ban

Ghosting:
First Offense: Warning
Second Offense: 24 Hour Ban
Third Offense: 5 Day Ban

Hacking:
First Offense: 8 Week Ban
Second+ Offense - 2x longer ban than the previous one
* NOTE: This is globalized with TTT

Porn/Gore/Disturbing Content:
First Offense: 2 Week Ban
Second Offense: 4 Week Ban
Third Offense: 8 Week Ban
Fourth Offense: 32 Week Ban
* NOTE: This is globalized with TTT

Child Pornography (CP):

• Permanent ban. Not negotiable or appealable.
  
• Possessing, sharing or providing CP is against federal law - a real world crime. As such, this content is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in any of our community services or platforms. The consequences of breaking this action is an immediate permanent ban from our services. If required by law, we are obligated to pass information regarding the offender to the authorities. CP is in no way a joke and there are severe consequences to getting involved in this.
