The trap that killed the other person was a T trap, but you pushed him into harms way. In doing so, the damage was dealt to you:

Can you explain to me your reasoning of why pushed him into the path of the cart?

 

There's no particular reason for it. I just wanted to know why I got banned. I'm a dickhead most of the time, but I'd never rdm&leave. It must've just slipped my mind.

That being said, I can tell you why it was unintentional. You know, for good karma. The push was just that, a push. As you can see in the screenshot, we were behind the corner of the lighthouse. That, combined with the speed of the minecart meant that my push just happened to be at the exact time that the minecart whizzed by. The fact that this means the damage done by it is appointed to me is something I have to live with I guess. If you feel like lifting the ban earlier, that's ok. If not, that's ok too.
