Well, here goes nothing... I turned Gmod on today only to find this crappy ass shitty fucked up crosshair that is literally a torn in my eyesight. It moves when you shoot (showing your ammo-ish)... triggering me to see if there is somebody there. I took this nice screenshot of this yellow ugly thing surrounding my crosshair. Ugly useless crosshair Does anybody know how to rip this yellow part of the crosshair thing? would really be nice
Yea must be a bug with the new gmod update, all I did to fix it was close gmod and relaunch and it disappeared. And that's for this one.
Did you connect a controller to gmod? My brother connected a controller and it automatically did this.
Here's how to turn it off, it's really easy. Open your console and copy/paste this shit in. Code: hud_draw_fixed_reticle 0 Basically, Garry's Mod detects a controller is plugged in, and uses Half-Life 2's 360 controller crosshair when it's plugged in. It's a source engine thing. If it keeps reppearing like some of you are saying, navigate to your Garry's Mod directory. Open up the "cfg" folder. Find autoexec.cfg. Put the above console line in that cfg, and it will automatically execute every time Garry's Mod is launched, solving your problem 5ever.
I had it on TTT aswell, it got removed somehow, not sure if because of an update or the console command
