    uuuuuhhh so i can just decide whenever i want to kill for gba or ???

    lets say some dude, at the beginning of the round, decides not to shoot somebody jihading but run away, youre telling i can just wait till the round goes into overtime to kill him?

    thats just dumb, like how you can be killed for running away from a jihad

    Yes. As far as I recall that's how the server has always worked. There is no timeframe for you to be able to kill for a traitorous act that you have seen with the exception of the 5 second rule.

    Edit: There is a suggestion thread on the topic for removing Jihad GBA that had a lot of support if you are interested.

    There are many instances where I witness someone commit a traitorous act, but due to other players in the vicinity, I would choose to delay killing the individual until a better and safer opportunity arises (ie. just the two of us alone). The logic behind this? There'd be no sense in killing someone for committing a traitorous act if you'll just be shot down directly thereafter by a mob of dimwitted players (I do play on vanilla after all). There are many situations in which the smart decision is to delay and your patience is often rewarded, besides it's quite fun when the tables turn and the hunted becomes the hunter.
