So a Detective shooting you with a taser shouldn't be automatically grounds for self-defense. However, if he attempts to walk over you and you get up, you can kill him. Being tased, unless near a ledge, doesn't put you in any danger, only being walked on. I think this is a good compromise.
I could get behind this. Also being near a ledge doesn’t make a difference because your body just goes back to where you were tased.
