Let us see banned profiles
unless ofc they were banned for their profile
Don't we already? Unless the person restricts access to their profile?
he means permas
I'm neutral to this as I don't see the point of being able to see the profile of someone who isn't meant to ever come back.
Good for searching threads/suggestions. +1
Calling it - Denied by Opal.
+1 i want to shitpost on every banned profile
perma banned lol
i made this thread with some other shit lol
i mean if you want to see their content i agree. may not be easy to do in xenforo tho. but you cant deny that some permad people dont have useful info in their post history @"upper administration"
Just logged out to test, you are still capable of searching content by the perma banned member if you knew their last used forum name. It just won’t auto complete, as with every banned member regardless of length. I don’t see why this would be worth the effort.
Wellll since it’s possible to already see their posts I don’t see why it can’t just be made easier. Come on I wanna Pay respects to the banned
He means profiles not thread posts
I understand, a few supporters of this suggestion here were mentioning the ability to find threads and posts with more ease via their profile as a selling point to them. I don’t see anything of value by making profile posts of permabanned users accessible either.
Banned players don't really post status updates tho
I'm going to go ahead and reject this... and probably not for the reason you'd fully expect.
@wink is right. Since there's not much added value to this since everything is already fully searchable-- but there's also a concern that some profiles have been used to keep notes in the past.
This isn't really done very often anymore, but there are posts that were made on profiles by staff members with the expectation that these profiles were never going to be made public again. Unfortunately, because of this, I'll have to deny this suggestion- even if it is possible through XenForo- it isn't really feasible for us to go through each profile and transfer any information that may need to be erased.
Thanks for the suggestion!
