Rejected Allow leads or someone other than highwon to deal with skins

It has come to my attention that nobody can do anything about adding skins or playermodels but mr @Highwon himself.
Highwon is a busy, busy man and would probably miss a few valid suggestions.
I think it would be a good idea if a lead admin or a few admin admins came together and come to an agreement to if the suggestion is valid or not. Then the leads would go through it and decide for the server. Idk something like that, highwon probs won't see my latest suggestion and so it won't get added despite having people wanting it.
Do something staff pls. This server is boring with nothing new added.

So I don’t know if you were around when opalium was a coowner, this was around 2016-2017(?). He made a lot of changes, a lot a lot, and most of them were good. However some of them were really bad and they caused server breaking issues that not even opalium himself, the maker of the code, could figure out. Highwon had to do a full revert back to 2017 after opalium left to fix the servers.

The reason why highwon is the only one that makes changes is so stuff like that doesn’t happen again. Highwon has his own custom server code that all works well across every addon the server has. Everything he adds is custom changed to fit with the server base code. That’s why it takes a while to add or remove something because he has to make changes to this massive system.

While you might not think that player models and skins require custom coding for the server, you would be surprised. There’s bugs and pieces that would only work if the code was right. Mess up 1 thing and you’d be having to fix it rather quickly.

As a collective, addons are usually sifted through by jabba and handed to highwon with the usual “hey this is pretty good”. When highwon has the time for it he adds it, but a lot of the time we just have to be patient. He’s got a very busy life outside of SGM.

If foundation of code is written already you just copy and paste code already coded. So this doesn't really make sense. The foundation of server is written adding things to the foundation isn't difficult.

 

While your server works this way, SGM doesn’t. Good try though bud!

 

Both servers use foundation of pointshop for models you do realize this please never message me anything relating this again Jesus Christ.
Only difference may be use of sql instead of server.db.
Again adding things won't be difficult to it.
