Aircraft - TTT Map

Hello! I looked through and didn't see this, and I don't believe I have EVER seen it on voting so I hope its not already in the game. I come suggesting Aircraft, a TTT map that is actually pretty fun. Was actually on an old server I played a lot, everyone liked it and always picked in the voting to play it.

Features:
· 32 Player spawns.
· Traitor tester for 2 players (needs 2 players to work).
· Rideable helicopter (fixed path).
· 2 traitor buttons.

The map plays fairly well, its smooth and well made. By smooth it may be a bit biased because I have a really good computer that I waste the power on a game from 2004.

Here are some pictures. I get on average 170 FPS (surprisingly) an got up to 300 (Default FPS cap for Garry's Mod) and dropped to 80 sometimes.

Then one from the Helicopter ride

With the Helicopter ride though, as the Features states, it follows a fixed path. This fixed path does not let anybody get to impossible spots, and does not give you any advantage. Except for sniping out the door but it moves smoothly so you can still shoot people inside easily if they leave the door open, you can also plant a C4 on it from what I remember, and can throw any type of grenade in it.

I've played the map a handful of times and it definitely makes for a good TTT map. I woudn't mind seeing it in rotation

 

I've played this map a lot, I wouldn't mind seeing it in play.
An issue would be C4 towards the middle of the map, but we have innomotel which is even worse, so sure this would make a great addition. +1

Apparently it just got lost in the process rather than denied. Maybe Opalium could shed some light on why it wasn't uploaded with the other maps.

 

Actually when we tested this with Opal and players on the testing server we all loved the map but it never made it to the update page for some reason....

So the reason for denial is on Highwon actually...

But i've played this repeatedly on another server and its great, everyone liked it during testing so unless its a serverside issue?

Also +1 this was an amazing map.

 

The lighting looks TERRIBLE, especially in rooms with props in them. Also looks dull in the open spaces, its just empty space

 

Is it something that can be fix?

 

Honestly I don't know whether this map will be fun or not (no experience) but the map itself looks like poop.

 

I'm always down for more maps.

 

Map looks like shit, and we play the same maps over and over again so no point in adding maps which are lesser known and don't look that fun.
