Often, there are no staff on in the waning hours or the night, and when rdm happens, theres nothing we can do but gang up on the rdmers and kill them every round until they leave. If we were to implement a Democratic Voting System, in which if say, 80% of the people online vote Yes or No to kick / ban (1 hour maximum) / mute / gag someone, it'll happen. These punishments will be limited to one round maximum for the mutes and gags so it cannot be overly powerful and liable to abuse. It will reduce the amount of 'street law' required to combat RDM without staff on, and perhaps it will even knit together our community stronger, for us to be able to come together and vote, as a single entity, to uphold the rules and maintain good gameplay. Reporting someone on forums when they are currently rdming or causing trouble often doesn't result in action for 8-12 hours, and it NEVER fixes current gameplay problems. Such a voting system would allow players to be able to maintain order for themselves, by themselves, without requiring Big Brother staff to be present at all times.
