Right, but I still opened my mouth even though I knew it would come off as somewhat pretencious to mention the fact that I didn't know him prior to his death. I'll try to be more careful next time.

I believe in kindness, catch more bees with honey than vinegar. Celebrity deaths make more popular and known actually. So, you're not in the wrong man. And no need for thanks man, I just don't like seeing people be rude to nice people
