Also congrats, Nikki! This community can definitely be pretty transphobic at times, I've noticed, but it's getting better, and we have quite a few trans members currently. It definitely takes a lot to come out with this though, especially coming from a place of toxicity like you have/do and knowing probably full well that there are going to be a lot of people who will try and put you down, question your identity, make toxic jokes, etc etc... Couldn't have been an easy decision to come to terms with, that's for sure, so I'm happy for you and I'm here to support you with it all (also cool you're apologizing for past toxic behavior relating to homophobia/transphobia but maybe we could also work towards cutting down on other toxic behavior like racist jokes or w/e) Also also yeah sucks about the drugs and shit. Idk how much of that you got sorted out or whatever, but damn shit's hard. I've had addiction issues for forever now, I did quit drinking but my god do I still ever do drugs and jesus christ can I not afford to do them. So definitely also congrats if you got out of that, but if not don't beat yourself too much, and maybe hmu if you wna talk through some shit or need resources (obviously I'm no expert since I'm still addicted to drugs, but I've also been addicted to drugs for like 8 years now so I'm kind of an expert).
