Map Optimization

Hello! So this topic is never used ever so I'll use it again.

A lot of the maps on vanilla are poorly optimized and make my frames drop from a swag 200 fps to a unswag 100 fps and possibly 60 (disgusting!). Personally for me, the most optimized map is vader's mc office map which does not include trees. If someone is willing to, and spend 300 years doing this, can someone optimize like 2-3 maps with Hammer? Maps made with it run the smoothest but takes ages to make. I really just wanna play nuketown and haven without having poor fps, and this may bring new players who have low end pc's (in 2020? cringe!) to come play on here.

I don't know what you're talking about I get 200+ fps on all maps get a better pc scrub

 

I get 5 fps on every map so maybe just don't be spoiled

The thing is you can't have as bad frame drops if you already have low fps to begin with

 

I got an i5 8600k and a 2070 super and my frames go to complete shit on certain maps so I'm all for this. It would be a lot of work tho

No need to optimize maps, just set up your gmod settings correctly.
