I think the speed can keep increasing too, like after I got shotgun boosted to over 900 speed at <~1:15> I managed to gain ~20 speed before I lost it, and even after losing it I still got solidly over 800 three different times.

I think the only thing preventing consistent 850+ speed is this randomly losing of ~100 speed that keeps happening and there not being enough space sometimes.
