Even though we literally have a channel specifically for media and videos, and they don't show up on forums, and they're normally obnoxiously large and take up my entire discord, and more or less the video is just random garbage, etc.
There is a rule for size though correct? I do remember some people getting punished because they posted a picture way too big for shoutbox.
If this is a general issue for you, you can disable it in the Discord settings. But I understand that it might only bother you in the shoutbox.
Yeah you can, the specialised channels like the media one etc were more so there for large discussions of their respective topics or if like a couple of people are posting images/videos back and forth they might be asked to go to the media channel if they post too many
There is no hard size rules for images posted to Shoutbox. It's more of a case by case thing, if we feel someone is being intentionally disruptive I guess. I've never had to enforce anything like that, or seen it done.
