Rejected Allow us to ignore staff on shoutbox

alright so like with this new wave of staff im kind of noticing a trend in how some of them are... undesirable to hear

Obviously staff may have important stuff to say so:
If a staff member makes an important announcement it will obviously override the ignore feature
If a staff member has to warn you they could be able to bypass the ignore function only to warn

pros:
ppl can ignore cowcakes
cons:
idk it might be hard to code im not that smart

You can just make a plug-in that allows you to hide messages that staff make, like I did.

 

we don't need announcements again, just ignore them with your eyes

 

Also, you can block people on discord because it doesn't track the ranks from the forums.

But I doubt anyone wants to use discord so....

 

Honestly, I'm going to have to agree with you here hnnnnng..

I'm trying to say this with no intent of offending any moderators; but the staff team can just be flat out obnoxious at times. I know that the staff are at times simply partaking in banter, BUT APPARENTLY THEY'RE TOO FUCKING THICK HEADED TO PICK UP ON THE FACT THAT I DON'T APPRECIATE SAID BANTER JESUS FUCKING CHRIST DO THESE PEOPLE HAVE ANY SENSE OF SOCIAL AWARENESS?

All in all, I completely support this idea, and I give you my +1.

Yeah, agreed. I first noticed this when I told MangoTango (former lead) to stop talking to me about something that annoyed me and he fucking kept talking about it.

 

You were probably being a little minge about something and deserved it.

 

This won’t be implemented. There’s a few work arounds mentioned if you really want to miss warnings.
