Hey so I'm a crackhead and I've recently been thinking about all the times I've nearly died/killed myself accidentally during my short time on this planet and now I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences so I'm gonna list mine and if you want to comment your own. in my head it seems fun.
    • One time I fell and blocked my fall with my wrist which was placed against my throat when I fell and it shattered my wrist and doccy said id be dead if I didn't move my wrist to my throat owo
    • Another time someone let a lighter fall into the toasted and not tell me, so I was toasting my bagel and walked away for literally no reason and the toaster firebombed itself and exploded so that's number 2 ig
    • My brother decided to throw 2 deodorant cans into the unlit stove for some reason (like I swear they're out to get me) and I lit it because who inspects the supposed to be empty stove and my final destination sense was like hmm walk away AND BOoooooooooooooOm they also exploded and filled the room with smoke and me realizing the dog was in the room ran back v-fast to get her so yeah, she has PTSD now ig (she has epilepsy also sooo that wasn't good)
    • there's a few more but I'm assuming people aren't that interested. Let's see how this goes I guess - (EDIT) - I've fallen into two different trenches and broke my foot both times. Forgot about that!
    • Another UPDATE: I've fallen down stairs twice well pushed once fell the second time, have a long scar across my forehead from smashing onto concrete
    • UPDATE: I was pushed off a surface and the back of my thigh got impaled by some weird pointed things I forget what it was - Stitches and a lovely scar to remember that by aswell

I once told my mom to go fuck herself under my breath. But I apparently said it louder than I thought. Fortunately for me I played it off well and she believed me when I told her I said something else. Almost died that day.

(mom was actually abusive so i'm for real when I say she would've buried mefor that)

explaining my childhood is autism, retardation and near death experiences tied with a string. From chugging fabric conditioner to 2kg rock book holders skimming my 1-year-old ear from top shelves to cracking my head open from falling out windows my arms are scars of my own stupidity. And my stomach although idk if impaling myself on a pool cue counts as near death.
But the one that sticks in my memory is my dad taking a wrong turn on a motorway, and after a 6 minute detour getting back on the right road to see a lovely fresh full road car crash where we would likely have been, not as near as the others in my life but I was old enough to actually remember it properly.

Im not gonna count the numerous car crashes I've avoided because thank god i took an evasive driving course. However one near crash was alot scarier than others.

Im driving on 95 about 3 years back and im in the right lane finna hit the next exit. There was a big rig to the left of me and we both were doing 70. The on ramp for the exit before mine had another 18 wheeler coming up. I couldnt slow down or speed up because there were cars in front of me and the 18 wheeler lined up perfectly with me. I dont know what he was expecting me to do but he just kept creeping into my lane and it got to the point where we occupied the same lane for a second. He kept pushing himself over and finally the rig to my left was able to get over but the rig to my right literally gave no fucks. Shit was scary

    Lets see...
-When I was five years old I climbed up a dresser drawer not once but twice and it ended up tumbling down with me. The firefighters at the time jokingly said if I keep climbing when I'm older they'll consider putting me through a training course.
-Hit my head in a sharp corner much like @hnnnnnnng did when I was five years old.
-Unscrewed the screws for a coffee table with a crayon and ended up pinned underneath it when it collapsed.
-Ran into a road when I was six and nearly got hit by a car when my Mom tackled me onto the sidewalk.
-Also during that same year I ran out to try and check on my Mom when she was outside during a severe thunderstorm when my older sister pinned me to the floor.
-Fell down the stairs when I was younger (I don't remember how old I was when that happened) and grabbed the railing, only to end up yanking my arm and creating a ganglion cyst in my left wrist. (Still got the surgical scar when it was removed.)
-Multiple severe allergic reactions throughout my younger years that not only ended up with me breaking out in hives but also made it extremely difficult to breathe.
-A bandsaw nearly exploded on me in High School, no joke.
-Almost got run over by an SUV as I walking home from a bus stop to the entrance of my development after I finished my college classes for the day.

A tip I learned not too long ago, might help someone.
If you're working with anything electric, and you go to test it or something (idk I don't work with it) touch it with the back of your hand. if you do it the other way around it'll cause you to grab onto it and be held on for much longer

Well yes but we're talking about flash capacitors here. They usually have around 300V dc and dc voltage hurts much less than ac voltage and they also can't deliver as much energy as your wall outlet.

    Several Near Death Experiences.

When I was about 8 my mom hit a mailbox with the side view mirror of the car while driving and not paying attention. I had my hand over my face and managed to severely mangle my hand. Hospital said if I had not been covering my face the likely hood of those pieces of glass from the broken mirror would have went into my eye and likely my brain, being fatal.

When I was 12 I had an Appendix Attack. My mothers boyfriend didn't believe me when I said I was having side pains. I passed out in the middle of class and was rushed to the ER were they had to perform surgery and remove it. It had just about burst and was leaking septic fluids into my body. I spent about two weeks recovering.

I was one hit by a stray bullet when I was about 13 in Georgia, living in Atlanta. Nothing vital was hit and it hit the side of my right shoulder.

When I was 19 and living on my own I randomly passed out. Was hard to tell what it was. My roommate was away and I was home from work, I felt suddenly very faint and closed my eyes. When I woke up paramedics were there picking me up off the floor a few hours later. They were unable to determine what had happened to me but I was fine.

Over my lifetime I have had several surgeries related to my medical condition, Diverticulitis. They have had to pull parts of my G.I. tract out. Each time saying the next blockage could be life threatening.

    :(

I have been so lucky so many times.

Multiple times when I was little ~2 years old, I would fall down the stairs and due to that I have broken my arm, cracked my head open, and hurt myself numerous times. As well as when I was 2-3 I was climbing on my older sisters bike (my dad wasn't watching me) and I fell off and fell 3 feet face-first into the concrete.

When I was around 12 I thought it would be *Trigger Warning* To see if a noose actually worked, (It wasn't really a noose just a rope hanging), they do in fact work and I almost passed out which would've killed me. I had to deal with a few years of PTSD after that.

Almost two years ago before my 18th birthday, I was driving after a snowstorm and the road was covered in black ice, my AWD car decided to lock the brakes, I spun out, went over the median, into the opposing lane of traffic and into the ditch on the opposite side of the row. I'm still thankful for this day no one was coming towards me or I would've surely been T-boned and killed (I was going 70mph).

Can't even count how many times I've almost hit cars in my blind spot, or rear-ended someone because I was daydreaming.
