While Rice is definitely a huge inspiration for this post, he's not the only person who uses the SL8 every round they play and he's not the only person with good aim. As I already went over in another post on this thread, yes there are other weapons, but they all have varying weaknesses and degrees of counter play. Also, discussing the state of the game is what this area of the forums is for. However, since it seems you didn't read the rest of the thread, I'm guessing you aren't here to actually discuss.

Lol because this isn't a Rice and Chicken thread, that's why. We're talking about the SL8 as a gun. Some guns are wildly unbalanced. I think this is one of them.
If they're skilled then doesn't that mean they'll do fine with literally any other DMR type gun like the M14 or the 1873..? Literally Rice said himself "Winchester can headshot, pistol can headshot oOoooOo" Nerfing the SL8 will only affect those who spam in the general direction of the opposition's head with the SL8.. bro i swear rice is going to "scrapbook" this and post it on sb when he can also have you been living under a rock because this debate has been at hand before the weapon overhaul update that got set back

The HKSL8 is like if the vanilla m16 was a 1 shot kill and thats broken af. It should be nerfed in fire rate
The Kac PDW is far less accurate than the sl8, even at mid range. The sl8 has like perfect accuracy from any range and it wouldn’t really matter anyway if it had more recoil, there’s enough time in between shots to reset the recoil.
Give this guy a trophy for the dumbest and most new-friend post of all time on these forums Here's an old vid of what the "old nerfed" SL8 looked like. It had far slower firerate, yet it was still easily the strongest sniper on the server. There is literally no good reason for the SL8 to have the firerate it has now except to be the least forgiving sniper to use. Calling it a skill weapon is extremely ironic and makes u look like a monkey im so fucking bored of talking about the sl8 by the way
agreed +1 if half the server if not more use this dumbass gun because its stupid overpowered it should be removed to make room for gun diversity among the player base
are you oblivious to the fact taht its not just him its 70% of the fucking server using the same gun it gets annoying and there should be greater gun diversity
Ok bud first of all it has no recoil (making it also impossible to see if the person is firing at long range). second it one shot hs. third 15 round clip. fourth it of all it fires insanely fast, almost as fast as you can click your mouse. All of the guns you listed can do a fourth of what the sl8 can do soooo your point is invalid
Perfect counter measure to the hksl8, get some barrels get a Winchester 1887 and shoot them at said players.
ur still ignoring the fact that the sl8 removes any gun diversity on the server within the sniper class, its not a matter of "use a gun with low ttk to kill bad guy" u need a sniper thats extremely forgiving? sl8 u need a sniper that's viable in cqc? sl8 u need a sniper viable at long ranges? sl8 yeah you can spam crouch, strafe, and stay in interiors but thats just a really restricted playstyle and makes the game less fun. this argument has been done numerous times how the actual ding dong frick do u people still believe its balanced
