Serious Prop Hunt When?

I think deathrun has hit its limits of what it will hold. I dont know exact data but lets be honest here deathrun hasnt done well for a long time.

Perhaps we can repurpose it? Have it as a testing server for other gamemodes and if that gamemode is liked and has enough traffic to stay alive then we keep it at that game mode.

Its a long shot considering we dont have someone to give us regular updates and focus on the servers. Maybe tho just maybe

I cant code anything thatll help bring a new server, but im willing to help out in the testing of a new gamemode.

If we can get someone in the server to host a server semi-regularly for testing and updates then we can get the gamemode working flawlessly without highwon needing to do anything. Highwon would just need to remove the server files for dr and then input the files for the new gamemode and change the gamemode in the server itsself.

I know he doesnt exactly trust people but i mean there isnt someone to give us updates or anything of the sort. The only way we can get that is with the help of the community.

If you have the ability to host a server reply to this please. For all those who are willing to test and give ideas to a new server please rate this useful. If it gets enough support and is actually a thing we can make a thread designed for just helping that server.

Joke or not its a pretty sensitive topic to talk about, let alone joke about.

 

This is the internet. You telling people "ok you can joke about everything except this topic" just makes us want to joke about it more.
Also, gmod is one of the most juvenile games on Steam. Like I said, that isn't a joke, it's a real gamemode. If you thought it was an offensive joke--again, it wasn't--don't complain to me, I didn't make the game. But that should show you what the gmod community is like. There is literally a gamemode on gmod where the goal is to rape someone. But if you're like me, "it's only a game...why you have to be mad?"
I grew up in Redding, Connecticut, just a few miles away from Newtown. I was 11 when the shootings happened. Year after year, we've had at least 4 lockdown drills in school to prepare. I of all people know that it's a fucked subject to joke about. But that's all it is: a JOKE. You know why we have that gamemode? You know why Foster the People wrote "Pumped Up Kicks"? You know why we have all these violent video games? For entertainment. That's all the gamemode is.

 

TL;DR get rekt

 

I'd love this and Murder. But we need to get a stacked dev team and get our TTT server back on track before we start getting other modes in here.

Ranks could get you taunts, hunter player models, weapon skins, able to hold more taunts at once, and other shit

Yeah PropHunt and Deathrun are both pretty dead gamemodes. DarkRP is where it's at fam, i'd play the shit outa a SeriousRP. It's all about those $$$ yall
