This next episode is going to be a rough one. Hope Tyrion has a plan and isn't just going to be killed off. Gonna be sick.

Am I the only one who got the feels when Jamie knighted Brienne and when Podrick was singing?

It was extra episodes, not extra seasons. HBO offered 10 but they refused. At least we get 6 hour and a half long episodes, which is still the amount of time that hour long episodes and a 9 episode season would be. Either way, they're past book material, and is so fucking obvious

    In other words, 6=9

D&D just want to rush thru to the end and wipe their hands clean from the show.

  10. Yeah I really enjoyed it. I love Bran as king and the way he knew it was going to happen.

Last episode was...okay, I guess. It really wasn't bad. I expected really cringy shit (and almost got it when I thought they'd actually introduce democracy at the end) but it was acceptable for the most part. Still, though. What a shame. The show had so much potential in its first four seasons.

I think if you haven't read the books then you're going to appreciate the ending more. As a die-hard book fan this show became atrocious after season 4 and the showrunners shit all over the lore and source material. The ending was pretty bland and Season 8 as a whole will probably go down as the worst one of the show

Everyone look up MauLer's Unbridled Rage on YouTube. He's going episode by episode and it's very cathartic. He's the most legendary writing critic on YouTube.

To be honest, there was a lot of things that happened in last night's episode I didn't really expect to be honest. After Jon killed Daenarys and Drogon stepped in, I expected Drogon to torch the place and catch everyone's attention before John comes out naked (after having his clothes burnt off) holding a dead Daenarys in his arms while everyone looks, sees him and then bows to him. I did not expect Drogon to torch the Iron Throne and then take Daenarys and fly off.

I also expected that Bran would tell everyone the truth about Jon's heritage instead of accepting the idea of becoming king but they already brought up the point that someone will be chosen by the lords and ladies of Westeros to take his place. Which now that I think about it is oddly democratic considering the setting of Game Of Thrones and the power struggles that have occurred throughout the series over the iron throne. Now I was expecting that Sansa would get a seat of power somewhere, so her becoming the 'Queen Of The North' doesn't surprise me to be honest. As for Jon joining the Night's Watch and heading up north with Snow, Tormund, and the remaining Wildlings, he never wanted the throne in the first place and if I remember correctly he mentioned in one of the earlier episodes in the series that he'd like to be a ranger instead, so I guess he sort of got what he wanted. As for Arya, I'm not sure where they were going with her heading 'west of Westeros' but I'm interested if that has anything to do with any potential spinoffs in the future.

All in all, I'm satisfied with the ending. It's not what I expected or wanted but taking into consideration about what my Dad has said about the books and that George R. R. Martin stories generally don't have good endings I'm content with how the series ended.

I'm looking forward to any potential spinoff series because I've heard of talks of a prequel series.

Ending really felt like one of those movies or shows that try to setup for a sequel/another season but never goes through with it though

There is no need for a nights watch because the wildlings aren’t an enemy anymore, and there are no more white walkers.

A fitting place for the Targaryen King. Stupid I wish they would’ve went to war and killed the unsullied and Drogon come back and become Jons dragons.
