Family, Some of you have already noticed that I have decided to return to this community as a member of the staff team. This decision was based mainly upon seeing the community that I watched develop become a mirror of itself when I first applied for mod. I was 24 years old then; a few months from 25. Now I am here, less than a week from 30 and so much has changed for me. So, for those of you who would like to know: I have been around since shortly after STTT took to the stage. I quickly applied to staff a place that had some awesome rules, awesome staff, and awesome content. I had my ups and downs over my tenure here as staff. After retiring multiple times, I would always hold the staff accountable for their actions. Most of them were already self accountable, so it wasn't too bad. I joined when I live in Alaska; I was stationed there for the Air Force back in 2009. Alaskan winters gave me plenty of indoor time and it's a great time zone for server population! Well, I've moved from Alaska and live in South Carolina now. I'm still in the Air Force; almost halfway finished with my career. I'm a paramedic and now manage the ambulance services for our base. When I first joined, I was a bachelor. I had began dating my wife, but we spent 3 years 4000 miles apart. That's right, I've been married for the last 4 years; we've been together since 2011. In early 2016, she blessed our family with a beautiful baby girl; there was actually quite a bit of hype here surrounding her arrival. I love being a father and a husband; my girls are my world. After seeing the announcement of the unavoidable shutdown, I heavily contemplated whether to return to the staff team or not. Well, as you can see, here I am as a moderator. I am thankful for the opportunity to help manage our servers until the very last day they exist. I am thankful to get the chance to staff with people that I've never really staffed with and play with players that hardly know me. I am hoping that my time here is not difficult or depressing. This place has a lot of life in it and I know we can keep it bubbling with life up until the bitter end. Well, that should give you all a little bit of insight into who I am and who I was.
