So recently I have thought about taking a crazy trip - and am wondering if anyone here has any input.
I plan to visit Georgia, Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Artskh Repbulic, Armenia, and Possibly Iran (I have a US passport).
I can start in Sivas, TR, and go by train to Kars, or all the way to Baku, AZ if that train ever opens. I plan to use Tbilisi as some sort of home base. Due to border conflicts - as far as I understand I need to go Tbilisi GE- >Baku, AZ -> Tbilisi GE-> Yerevan AR. Abkhazia Ill do somewhere in the middle from Tbilisi, but return I was considering trying to grab a Iranian Pilgram Visa and catch train from Tabriz IR, to Van TR.
The goal is to use as little money as possible. Couch Surfing, Hitchhiking, Tent in sketchy field, you name it. Most of my expense cost will be going to visas. (AZ $25, Artskh $7, Abkhazia $10, Iran unknown) I know the cost of the Train from Tabriz to turkey is aprox 10 Eur. Any tips, anyone ever been here, or is from any one of these countries who can land some advice? Trip length is aproximetly 2-3 weeks

I don't. However for Georgian border region and Azerbaijan, Turkish should suffice.
However for Iran Ill be utterly fucked. Armenia and Georgia a mix of Google Translate and English should suffice
