Opalcraft: Community Minecraft Server

Havent had that ever happen.

 

I bet it was more of a you were on a block that it cant spawn on (such as half slab i believe) instead of a glitch.

 

Aye, thanks Opal, Also just to let you know as well, a certain Ore for the Astral Sorcery Mod isn't spawning at all which makes the mod more difficult than it has to be. Basically its the Aquamarine Ore that spawns in sand under shallow water

I have a question: how many of you would be interested in a vanilla server? I'm considering laucnhing a vanilla server in addition to the current modded one, should there be enough demand for it.
By vanilla, I mean a server that doesn't require client mods. It might still have custom things like Factions or Currencies or similar things. Not sure yet, just throwing ideas out.
Or, perhaps, a new server with a different modpack?

What do you all think?

 

A vanilla server would be cool. The modded one lags wayyy to much for me, so it would be cool to play on a server that doesn't lag.

Yup, anything new would come in addition to the current one, not instead of it.

Anyway, if a vanilla server does come to fruition.
Would you be making a separate thread for it? Or would it just be an addition to this one?
I would also love a creative addition to the server, if possible (a separate world that's for creative mode.)
Wouldn't be too hard to add I don't believe. IF a Vanilla Minecraft server is launched. If not, then the whole factions idea I'm still completely on board with.

 

I love the idea.
I've recently jojned Opalcraft and with all honesty I can say ... I donzd get it.
FTB is nothing for me. ItsI very complicated and requires time to get into. I've seen some creations and I had no idea whatsoever what I was looking at.

I like the building aspect of Minecraft not that industrial part that FTB introduces.

So yeah, I'd love a vanilla server! :3

 

Factions would be great.
It would make a lot of sense since we are already a community. I love the idea.
Makes me wanna play just thinking about it.

I agree with almost everyone here, I'd love a vanilla server w/ factions. It sounds amazing. I personally joined SGM just because of SMC. I never thought I'd get this far just from playing on a Minecraft server that ended up getting shut down.

 

I dunno I think maybe having one or two mods that just make life easier would be nice to have in addition factions
