I thought part time mods weren't a thing, but there are mods with 10-15 hours every 2 weeks? imo, that's extremely low, when you likely have several applicants who can easily reach 30 or higher, but spots are taken up for these PT mods So my question is, what's the minimum hourly requirement per 2 weeks? I know it varies between admins, but surely there is a base they must keep their mods above?
The hour requirement was lowered to 15 hours every two weeks. It was changed due to a number of reasons, but overall it was simply changed to reduce staff burnout. The moderators who are under that requirement more than likely have already cleared it with their admins, and if not they probably wont be around for very long.
As of a recent change for the time being our hour requirement has been changed to 15. And as far as it varying between admins I feel we are all universal with it at the moment.
Even though it can technically vary by admin, there is currently not an admin that requires more than the minimum 15 hours biweekly.
