Greetings.

This will take for me a bit to explain, as I need to provide with necessary context before I make the appeal.

On 18th March of this year, I received my 5th ban, this one global, in regards to repeated behavior regarding RDMing and leaving. Whereas the first three were were locally applied, or were too short for me to notice, the 4th one was a global one, lasting for 6 weeks.

I was for that duration banned, but I didn't know why, neither did not pursue to find the reason why. Most of this was just negligence or apathy.

With the 5th ban, the current one, I seeked out the reasons as to my banning. I was on another serious server when that happened, so I was confused as to why I had been handed down a ban when I hadn't done anything in my immediate knowledge to deserve this.

This lead to my realization:

Long story short, I had this awful habit of jumping from less populated servers to more populated ones. The issue was that I sometimes did that before any reports directed at me were cleared, or in the case that I had been found to have committed wrongdoing, of serving out the slay.

During routine play on a less populated server, I must have gotten reported rightfully or wrongfully over killing another player (this one had been a T as I remember). Due to my own carelessness or slow moderation (there are multiple reports sometimes with only one mod on), I jumped to a more populated server, either having forgotten or miseen if I had been cleared or indicted of the charges. That made it look as if I had RDMed and left.

Looking back with perfect foresight, this is probably what had gotten me into my 5th ban, as well as filling in why the 4th one had happened.​

Evidence of Innocence:

There is no evidence of innocence.

I will spare you on the theoretical reflections. I will only mention that I do not RDM and leave. Doing so is completely against both the spirit of the game, and any sense of moral identity. Doing so would be cowardly and would mostly harm me.

This happened due to my own negligence and careless play.

You can keep the full ban if you wish so.

I had watched the death scene and it did look like a kill on suspicion; however, when I went to investigate and ask you some more about where/when you had seen her shoot, I saw that you had left the server.

Because you have a bit of history with RDM and leave, you ended up getting banned for your 5th offense, which is a global, 16 week ban.

Shortly after this occurred, you reached out to me here on the forums and started a conversation with me about this situation. I really appreciated how forthcoming and respectful you were about everything. I talked to an admin about it, and decided to show some leniency with you. So your ban has been localized to just the West 2 server.

BUT be advised that should this happen a 6th time, you will face some pretty severe consequences.

(It might be helpful for you to check in with whatever staff is online before you decide to hop servers or go offline, just to make sure you’re good to go.)
