Not positive but I took te day off today to give my arms a rest since I could barley move them. Had to walk like a t-Rex all day.
"Not positive"? Sounds like you are maybe working it too much. I mean unless you're curling 50kg's+, if your arms are that tired the day after its too much. If DOMS is becoming a problem for you, I'd reckon it would be best to tone down Time/Reps and possibly sets, but the time spent/reps performed will be the primary cause of your T-rex arms. What are you currently doing/what did you do to have T-rex arms for a day and how much (reps/time wise)?
Yeah, I workout at GYM to become a bodybuilder, I go 4-5 times a week for 2-3 hours a day. I workout these in a week: Legs 1x Chest 3x Abs 4x Arms 3x Back 1-2x Shoulders 1-2x I'm 16, 1m 80cm. But after a while I did it for girlz... Bruh... But after some more time. I really started doing it for myself and started becoming passionate about it. Bodybuilding makes me feel confident and the GYM is really like my second home. I have quite a few friends there, people motivate me there. Whenever I'm angry or sad I goto the gym and become instantly happy. This was was me some years ago. Spoiler
I work out about 3 times a week, for 2 hours a day. I'm a Dancer, so that's pretty much about as much time as I have to work out. I go to a Crossfit gym, which is really amazing as it's such an amazing community. I'm the youngest person there and its honestly like a second family. I also really like running, but I don't go to the gym for that, I think treadmills are depressing and would much prefer the outdoors.
I used to do competitive powerlifting. I'm sure I have my training shedule lying around here somewhere. Especially towards the end when I got a coach, it got pretty intensive. Can't really add anything dietary wise, as for me, my bodyweight wasn't that important, only lifting weights YEAAAH.
If any of you play Football, or have, My Coach made me do deadlift jumps w/ a trap bar, and 225 weight. TL;DR fuck my coach
I do a lot of the same as @Wolfslayer246. I mainly go for Bench, Squats, Overhead Press, Deadlift and free weight stuff with some cable stuff chucked in. Been mainly going for just increasing the weight with everything. Bodyweight is 86 KG atm and am aiming for Bodyweight in major lifts etc. Close with squat and smashed it on deadlift so far! Spoiler: Excersises and weights if anyone cares Bench: Working weight: 72.5KG Go up in 2.5kg increments when I can do 5 sets of 5 reps. Squat: Working weight: 85KG Go up in 2.5 again at 5x5 reps Deadlift: Working weight: 95KG 1RM = 100KG Overhead Press Working weight: 40kg Not really sure how I'm gonna progress this one as I haven't been doing it long. Mainly been doing 3 sets of 5 but gonna work for 5x5 Free Weights Shoulder press: 18KG Curls: 12KG Lat raises: 12-14KG Mainly just go for 3 sets of 10 reps and when I can do that move up to next weight. Sometimes have to progress with half sets. Don't really do too much dietary stuff, just try and eat as healthy as I can and eat a shit load of protein + Post workout shake etc.
Spoiler: BRO Tip In all seriousness though, I can and respect all people that make the effort to exercise and workout. Does your gym have an age limit (lowest) or are you an exception for having sweet gainz? ; )
don't weight-lift before High-School, you can stunt your growth. So, Age 15 you should be hitting the gym, and everything up to death you should hit the gym if physically possible. At my park district, I run with some 80 year old, and he jogs at my pace and that freaks me the fuck out. Also: Yes, it's in pounds, I'm not fuckin crazy.
Ooh we sharing 1RM's? Oh yeah, this very moment is what I've spent all this time in the gym for: Deadlift: 175 kg Benchpress: 110 kg Squat: 120 kg My life is now complete. EDIT: at a bodyweight of 58-59kg.
