Well ok then. I can't say I expected a report to come out of this, especially not from you (more on that later). I suppose I'll just get right into it.

Below, I have arranged for you what I believe to be the relevant messages of my interactions with Nikki yesterday (there's a lot). Feel free to look back through the discord shoutbox if you feel I'm leaving something out:

I had said nothing to Nikki whatsoever, but she still felt the need to harass me in shoutbox, calling me toxic and transphobic and saying things like "i hope you die soon pokebitch". As you can see, I didn't get involved in the conversation until she asked me if I was going to apologize, at which point I asked what for. Up until this point, my only interaction with Nikki was me commenting "what" on their coming out thread. When I did respond to her, I did so, in my opinion, very professionally.

    > In this whole conversation, I referred to her as "nilz" once. I would hardly say I "refused to accept" her transition.

Here you can see a short conversation Nikki and I had later that night:

You have to understand that from a staff perspective, this is all a bit sudden and hard to believe. Nilz is, and has been for as long as I've known them, a toxic player. I can't recall one instance of Nilz not being a rude and toxic troll. But I guess that has changed now that he's Nikki? As you can see in the first photo I've provided for this section, I express my confusion and weariness to Nikki directly-- they did, after all, refer to another player as the homophobic slur just the other day. I'm not entirely sure why I'm being reported, as Nikki and I actually came to an understanding, as seen in the photos above.

I'd also like to point out her excessive use of emoticons and words like "rawr" and "lol" and her strange use of capitals. What's with all of the "whatevs", "xD", ":3", and caps? They don't really communicate a sense of seriousness. It's almost like nilz did a 180 flip when he became Nikki. Because of this, I found it especially hard to believe her transition.

If you have any other questions or concerns you would like addressed, feel free to leave them here.

Yeah, figured I would get some flack for calling her "Nilz" in my response. However, I only did so as to help aid my retelling and explaining of the situation and my thought process. Nilz BECAME Nikki because... he did. Nilz WAS toxic, but maybe that's changing now that HE is Nikki. I thought I was very respectful in my use of pronouns and correct name.

That said, should I have called her a troll in shoutbox? No, but I hope you can understand why I was slightly hesitant to treat this legitimately. Nevertheless, I shouldn't have called her Nilz, and I take full responsibility for that.

As someone that just happened to be looking at this thread, I'd just like to enquire as to what is meant by this sentence:
I cannot think of a single interpretation of that sentence that is not blatant transphobia. Maybe it was just an innocent communication error on your part; but since "HE" is capitalised it really seems to me like you are not only calling Nikki by the pronoun that they do not prefer, but you're also very clearly drawing attention to that by capitalising it.

The misgendering in the below quote also seems ridiculous to me - either you have an extremely strange and unorthodox thought process or this is blatant transphobia. In a report made by someone due to the fact that you were deadnaming someone who'd recently come out as transgender, you still call her a "he"? I definitely recall Elvis saying intentional misgendering is a bannable offense when he was admin, and this is absolutely what that seems like to me.

Obligatory I am allowed to reply to this report as despite not being involved I am providing evidence

Nilz (past self) became Nikki (current self). Nilz (past self) was very toxic and very much a troll, but maybe that is changing now that he (past self) is Nikki (current self). I was simply referring to Nikki in the past as Nilz because it helped to explain my thought process. I honestly don't see why this is such a big deal; some leniency has to be granted for the sake of explanation. That's the only reason I said Nilz instead of Nikki.

Apologies for any misunderstanding, I was not specifically referring to the use of the name but moreso pronoun. The specific phrase "HE is nikki" seems extremely transphobic to me. Referring to people by the wrong pronoun and capitalising it is the exact sorta shit transphobes do to make people who have transitioned feel invalid, and is not ok.

Some leniency can be granted for the sake of explanation, yes. Referring to her with her previous name? Understandable, with your explanation. Her previous pronoun? Not okay, even with your explanation. Her previous pronoun, capitalised for no apparent reason other than to draw attention to it? Absolute transphobic bullshit. I cannot fathom a single reason other than transphobia why you would do that. That is absolutely and unequivocally transphobia, whether you intended it to be or not.

Just replace the capitalized "HE" with (past self). I was just capitalizing it to put emphasis on the fact that I was talking about her past self. That is all.

We know you were talking about her past self, you've only been talking about her past self this entire thread to try and justify yourself misgendering her.
The only person who seems to be aided by your "retelling and explaining of the situation and [your] thought process" wherein you use the wrong set of pronouns is you.

This situation should be such a simple one for you to come to understand why what happened was wrong and own up. The fact of the matter is: pronouns are not a privilege you get to decide to remove for any reason whatsoever, and doing so is transphobic, there's no two ways about it.

Whether or not you think someone is being "serious about their transition" (whatever that is supposed to mean), you don't get to ignore their requests to change pronouns/name.
No matter how they approach it or how "cringey" they may be in announcing/speaking about it, you have to respect their pronouns/name, unless they come to you and specifically say they aren't being serious.
Not doing that is transphobia. Misgendering on accident isn't, but misgendering and refusing to correct

Maybe you should have read the entire report carefully because I DID own up to it, and I DID say I shouldn't have called her a troll in shoutbox.

Whether or not Nikki's transition is real or not, this not up to anyone to judge and her transition must be taken seriously. This isn't a secret to tell you that Nikki has some history of trolling, it's normal to have doubts. I would also like to point out that this message right here was posted when the thread was temporarily locked for being a "troll" thread.

Pokeben continued to use her old name and pronouns multiple time in his response. I don't think classifying these messages as transphobic is appropriate, but handled the situation in a wrong manner and he need to put more effort in using the correct identity.

This report against my moderator will be marked valid for:
-Refusing to use the correct name (aka Deadnaming).
-Refusing to use the correct pronouns.

Pokeben will be suspended for a duration of 2 weeks, due to this report and due to an other private report.
