why do people hate airship

I love airship, probably 50% of my slays are from airship bcs I just push everyone off

but people hate it because C4 spam

 

people are shit at are strafing so they just dont survive but its "the maps fault" not theirs, they definitely didnt choose to stand of the top of the airship in the first place when theres a nice safe indoors area :4head:

I think its because its a small map , when the servers's full , its not easy to get away with kills sometimes , even with discobs

 

Yeah. This is pretty much the biggest reason why I dislike playing on it. I don't hate it and I will play on it, but I don't enjoy it compared to playing on other maps. I feel similarly to playing on other smaller maps, but airship is definitely the map where the size REALLLYYY gets me frustrated. It just limits the amount of viable strategies or ways to have fun IMO.

Yeah THE OTHER airship is really simple as a traitor. All you have to do is buy discombobs and/or incends and toss them everywhere.
Even if you don't fall off the ships, fall damage is a problem on this map, arguably highest of any maps.

i mean, wouldn't that make it easier to ban them?

 

this map is interesting to say the least, on one hand discombobing and newton launching from the white baloon is really fun but the entire map feels separate, with it usually taking about 10 seconds to get to the other side. Also there have probably been many confused new players who have been banned from throwing a discombob. everyone just camps at the top so you gotta c4 or get a couple buddies and mow everyone down. if the map was bigger, had stairs to get the levels as well because the ladders suck, and if you could get from one ballon to the other easier it could be pretty good, but for me it's just a "so bad it's good" type of thing i'm willing to play every once in a while but i understand why folks hate it

Personally? it is too claustrophobic.

 

I genuinely love the map because everyone time I play it I fall off my chair from laughter
