    you LIAR.

I did some research and found that the mousepads closest match is roughly this.

That measures exactly 31.5 inches long horizontally.

The mousepad shown in the image is exactly 470 pixels long.

    That means 470 pixels = 31.5 inches. That gives us a ratio of 1 pixel = 0.067021276595 real-life inches.

Visible space on the desk clocked in at exactly 595 pixels, or 39.877659574 inches long. If you were telling the truth about the desk being 70 inches you must have a whopping ~30 inches hidden behind that chair! A whole 2.5 feet of desk. (which is actually exactly what you said....)

From there, we have to calculate the area of desk behind the chair. It's a pretty safe assumption (meaning we can be a few pixels or about 0.2 inches at most out) to say that the end of the desk is roughly at this intersection
    [IMG]

From the last visible pixel on the desk to the intersection, there are exactly 251 pixels.

Also known as 16.8223404253 inches. Not even 1.5 foot - let alone 2.5.

And your entire desk? A measly 56.6999999993 inches.

13.3000000007 inches less than you told us it was.

In 13.3000000007 inches, a lot can change.

This is the equivalent to the average adult British males foot plus the average British babies foot.

Or the average specimen made at the Rhino Horn Plantain - a hybrid banana cultivator.

Don't try and pull these dirty tricks when I'm around, kid. We all knew deep down you did not have 2.5 ft of desk space hidden behind that £400 chair.

Unfortunately your calculations are invalidated. You did not factor in the angle that the image was taken at, which changes the ratios.

Not really. Unless the image was taken with muffinman lying down sideways the X values wouldn't really change. And I only ever factored in X values since that's all I was working out.

I suppose we can all agree that it is a really good monitor despite the bad native profiles. I have it for 6 years now, it still works perfectly fine and 144 Hz doesn't get old imo.

Agreed. I'd need room for at least 4 cups, some red bulls, and a plate or two

once I sit down it's hard to get up, it's very comfortable and fully adjustable for good support.
