Hmmm, yes. I have never met a single republican down here in the Bible Belt. Certainly not friends with any.

    Ridiculous.

Of course I have Republican friends. I don't have any racist, homophobic, transphobic, or sexist friends however. Nor would I be friends with anyone who claims not to fall under those labels while they actively support politics that seek to deny and strip those minority groups of their rights.

Can you clarify what you mean by the second part? I claim to not fall under any of those labels, what politics do I need to support to essentially fall under those labels? Genuinely curious what you have to say here.

    Operating on the given labels,

Racist: Undoing policies that are put in place specifically to train police to be anti-racist.

Homophobic: Seeking to deny citizens their rights to love whoever they so choose. For example, there are justices on the Supreme Court right now that are seeking to "take a legal baseball bat to the court's 2015 decision Obergefell v. Hodges." Source

    Transphobic: Transgender Military Ban.

Sexist: I don't really have anything for this one, as a whole women's rights are the safest of these four, in my opinion. (Let me google a bit.)

I'll use this article for sexist laws in the US. Let us note at the start that this article is from 2018, so some things could be changed now, though I doubt this. Also some of these issues aren't explicitly unique to women, but they are more likely to be negatively impacted by them.

    1. Rapists have parental rights in seven states. (Maryland, Alabama, Mississippi, Minnesota, North Dakota, Wyoming, and New Mexico)
Well that's not cool, why on Earth would anyone support forcing a victim of rape to share their child with their rapist?
    2. Sexual consent cannot be withdrawn in North Carolina.
Article says Senator Jeff Jackson is trying to undo this one, or at least he was at the time. Good for him.
    3. A woman needs a permit to wear high heels in California.
While I think this is silly, I don't think this is really sexist. Men wear high heels too. It's also localized to the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
    4. Unmarried women cannot cohabitate with the opposite sex.
Two people with different genitalia living under one roof who aren't married? Scandalous. The article sums this up better than I can, "It’s just another example of an outdated, morally-based law designed to maintain a woman’s status as property."
    5. A woman can be fired for a period leak in Georgia.
This is a case where there is no law to protect women from being fired for leakage. According to the source linked in the article, she was fired for failure to "practice high standards of personal hygiene and maintain a clean, neat appearance while on duty." The woman leaked on her office chair on one occasion, and dripped onto the carpet while standing up in another. The latter incident she immediately cleaned with bleach and disinfectant. At the time of the article the ACLU was appealing the court's decision that dismissed her case.
    6. Child marriage is legal with parental consent, or in the case of pregnancy.
I'll just post the paragraph from the article. "In most parts of the country, a person must be 18 years old to get married. But in 25 states, a minor can legally get hitched at any age with parental consent, an emancipation ruling, or in the case of pregnancy. In Alabama, the minimum age for marriage is only 16, and in New Hampshire, a girl as young as 13 can be legally wed with parental consent. In the last 15 years alone, over 207,000 minors have gotten married, and the majority of those minors are young women. That means hundreds of thousands of girls have been stripped of their childhood and robbed of the chance to grow and find independence outside of their familial lives."

My only note on this is that it says most of the minor are young women, though based on the laws regarding marriage in the last 15 years I'd say it's likely to be pretty even between boys and girls. Maybe the Cuties movie isn't the biggest issue to be concerned about regarding children.
    7. It is illegal for women to bare their breasts in at least 10 states.

    1. Do you have any stats on how many more racist cops have come into existence in the last 4 years?

    2. Do you walk into a Halal Butcher shop and demand they sell your pork?

"a former Kentucky county clerk who refused to issue a marriage license for such couples."
Find a different place to get a marriage license.

    3. What do you dislike most about the "Transgender Military Ban"?

Lots of places have a lot of silly laws across the world https://www.cbc.ca/kidscbc2/the-feed/10-unusual-laws-from-around-the-world And it's even more silly to even let this sway your mind in any direction and kinda stupid tbh.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cohabitation_in_the_United_States "Two states, Mississippi and Michigan, have laws on their books against cohabitation by opposite-sex couples." Not just "same-sex" have laws against this lol, and they are being removed as time goes on "North Carolina Superior Court judge Benjamin Alford struck down the North Carolina law against opposite-sex cohabitation as unconstitutional" "Anti-cohabitation laws are often not enforced[2] although until recently,[when?] cohabitants were regularly being charged with misdemeanors in Florida.[24] On March 22, 2016, the Florida legislature voted to repeal the state's ban on cohabitation. The Florida Governor Rick Scott signed the bill into law on 6 April 2016"

Again, this shit effects all sides, it's stupid and it's being removed.

https://time.com/4999185/woman-fired-for-period-leak/ Just like how Pregnant women use to be fired, shit takes time to fix.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_marriage_in_the_United_States#Legal_status Scroll down to "Prevention"

"As of June 2020, 40 states have set absolute minimum marriage ages by statute, which vary between 14 and 18 years of age. In recent years, several states have increased their marriage age, including, in 2020, Idaho, Indiana, and Minnesota.[78][79][80] For more details on the marriage age by state, see Marriage age in the United States." Oh hey look 2020, changing that shit out.

"In September 2018, American Samoa raised the marriage age for girls from 14 to 18, to be in line with that of boys" 2018

"In April 2018, Arizona raised the minimum marriage age to 16. Such underage marriages must be approved by a superior court, must have either parental consent or an emancipated minor, and the age difference between the parties must not be more than 3 years" 2018

"In California in 2017, a bill that would have ended child marriage (by raising the minimum age to 18) ran into opposition from legislators, the American Civil Liberties Union and Planned Parenthood.[83]"

This one is the most important one, A BILL WOULD HAVE FUCKING ENDED CHILD MARRIAGE BUT AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION AND PLANNED PARENTHOOD SAID NO?!? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.

Oh fuck yeah, lemme see some titties in public, However due to society, many of us deem is just like having dicks and pussies out, grab a blanket and toss it over you as you feed, ain't hard, just like wearing a mask when you go into public ain't hard.

TLDR; You need to do some reading on history and laws,
    1. go back to 1970s, 1980s, and tell me that we have racist cops now adays.
    2. go back to 1970s and 1980s and tell me that we don't allow anyone to marry.
    3. read up on that ban more then come back and tell me about it.
    4. instead of reading one article, look into it, find the laws, see what the laws use to be and when they changed or how they are changing and realize, you're a retard (Sorry if that offends you but I have no other words to describe the lack of intelligence)

And finally, none of what you said explained why you don't have any racist, homophobic, transphobic or sexist friends, and you seem to be living in the past when you don't realize that half the shit you posted is being changed, has been changed, or doesn't even exist.

Oh and one last thing, If someone supports Trump, does it deem them any of those 4 things you mentioned? Is that what you meant when you said you have republican friends but none that are those things?

The amount of nonsense you just replied with isn't disappointing, it is in fact expected from you Rozboon.

You'll get two responses based on this last section.

Why don't I have any racist/homophobic/transphobic/sexist friends? Why the hell would I? Why would literally anyone?

If someone supports Trump, does it deem them any of those four things I mentioned? No. Not on their own. The support of politicians goes far beyond if you agree with them or abhor their stance on specific issues. Just because you support someone doesn't mean you stand by them on every single stance. To believe otherwise is insane.

As the son of two veterans the reason is because the military doesn't want trans people serving; the military feels some people who can't afford gender reassignment surgery will simply join the military just to get the surgery and then leave, either by deserting or after serving the minimum four year requirement for enlisting.

And let's not even mention the problem with serving. The military will put you where they believe you are needed. If the only thing you can do is shoot a gun then obviously the frontline is the only place you can operate effectively in. Women were previously barred ( and should ) from serving in the frontline because it's a basic fact of physiology that men are stronger, faster, and quicker then women. Other countries still observe this and it's a problem if they can't win a battle because they're at a natural disadvantage.

Now knowing this, if you were born a male, and passed all the requirements for frontline combat then the military will put you there. But if that person believes they are a female and cites that reason because "women aren't allowed to serve on the frontline" we just lost one person that could serve in that spot. Now if a good chunk of the army falls under this Male but Female feeling; well we might as well just surrender before the fight even begins.

But this is just for the frontline, and obviously there are trans people who are more than capable of positions past the frontline. But another issue is I've heard trans people say they that they can have mental breakdowns because they don't feel natural within their own body. Which is falls under health problems. Which itself is a reason why people with health problems can't serve.

Indy, when it comes to the military I wouldn't talk about it unless you've actually served, I've gone through training with both males and females, my career is the very first to go in, and there's women I'd trust my back, my life to over many men anyday. And like so many people, sitting here saying this won't convince you so I suggest you see it for yourself when you're able to and then try to come back with that same mindset.

I wasn't gonna respond to this, but a case example has presented itself.

How do I make these determinations? Simple, I evaluate their ideals as they express them to me. If you've been around someone long enough you tend to come across these social issues. In fact, in college I actually did movie night with a group. Once it was my turn to pick the movie, I chose Circle (2015). Great move, it's in my top three. The premise of the movie is that 50 people have been abducted, and must vote for one of them to die very two minutes. Last person standing gets to live. The 50 people are of course extremely diverse, which leads to the voters factoring in their own biases when choosing who should die next. I like to see how people view the characters and their choices during the movie. It's very telling on what they support and why. (I really recommend watching the movie, the ending blew my mind.)

So case example, let's take Indy here. Based on his views, which he has expressed here today and recently on the Serious Talks thread, he appears to hold both homophobic and sexist beliefs. There is also a possibility of being transphobic, but I wouldn't say he finished digging that hole yet.

As for my current friends, could they be harboring prejudice beliefs? Well, yeah, it's not impossible. People hide things, or conversations don't come up. However when I call someone a friend, it usually indicates a level of understanding that comes from knowing each other on a deep level.

How do I know I'm not prejudice? This is an interesting question. A lot of people will say that everyone has some level of prejudice. This is usually talked about in reference to racism. I disagree with it however. I have no reason to believe any race to be superior to another. Nor do I support blind nationalism. I'm also not partial to any religion. As such, I have yet to find a group of people to be lesser or undeserving of the same rights I have, so long as they aren't a threat to other people, i.e violent criminals.

Though some furries would disagree with me there. I'd hope the ones who know me would attest that issues only arise when they're sexualizing the animals.

And yes, I read the shit you posted to my shit.
