I'm bringing this here because it has to be said. Valcano almost never gets voted unless 1. There are literally 0 good maps to play on such as motel, dolls, 67th etc 2 there are new players or people that have recently joined the server and think of it as a cool map without playing on it. These are the reasons in my opinion that the map is objectively bad. 1. Its incredibly big, to the point where it will take the whole round to hunt down and kill someone as T. 2. Rounds drag out for an incredibly long amount of time, it then becomes boring and a parkour game to see who can get to the top of the valcono first. I just dont understand why TTT_ISLAND is not in rotation but this bad map is. I might be wrong and the dumbest person in the world but i wanna see discussion on this map.
Honestly, the only reason why i like that map is because i always climb on top of the volcano and i can see everything, it can be pretty fun xD
I see it picked more then like Seriouscraft or nether which are maps i enjoy but they're just never picked. I like haven because it's so big it's just enough that everyones not grouped in one spot making it impossible to kill them without c4
Because when you play the exact same rotation every day a dumb map where anything you touch can be a traitor trap is fun
I don't care. Every new person thinks that all the underplayed maps are good, and only nether and mc mythic are bad. I don't care about the maps, and I've learned to accept haven as the shitty fps dropping map it is
You're kidding right? I agree that the map gets picked but its an absolutly terrible map filled with fps drops, extremely long rounds and shit, and c4 is actually useless unless you put it on the ship. It do be lookin cool tho
I actually like it and see it getting picked a lot of the time around midday of GMT, when most the most rdm'ing, toxic and annoying people are asleep. I fon't mean americans, but deff americans. I don't see a lot of complaints around those times, even the newer players can find their way quite easy as the spawn point is almost always the same. Making it EZ to explore the map. Ps: i see some good cons why this is a good map for starters instead of good maps like dolls and 67th. 1 People don't randomly die by fall damage or cars racing about. (hazards are minimal, only if you parkour to the top there is a small chance of dying.) 2 People actually spawn on the same spot, making exploration EZ. (If you disagree then we have to remove 67th when a newbie spawns in the farm location and gets stuck for 10+ mins.) 3 This is something different then running about with an AK or shotgun and just randomly firing gets you 3+ kills cause we all crowding together. PPS if you are not talking about TTT_minecraft_haven it is on you for failing to name the map.
