I dont know about yall, but i think the gmod crosshair sucks. Not knowing how much longer you have until you start taking damage can cause you to come up for air prematurely. Yes on crosshair just so people can feel special yes on the drowning one for sure no on the sprint one, movement is fine as is
+1 I'm all for the custom crosshairs and the drowning indicator but I'm still unsure about sprinting to be honest. How fast would a player be in-game if they're sprinting compared to other players who aren't?
Ok, my thoughts on the three things. 1) Yeah, custom crosshair needs to come back. One of the many things Opalium changed that was pretty nice. 2) A drowning indicator would be nice, but it's kind of uneeded clutter. We've gotten by for over 15 years on HL2 without the thing, no need to make one now. 3) Sprint for EVERYONE is bad. I've included it in previous communities I ran, which always resulted in people exploiting, or just running away from every encounter. Overall, it wasn't fun. But... spring for a detective is cool, and needs to return!
Then maybe make sprint for T's only? I have no clue the value that highwon will set, but its customizable with how fast you want the players to go.
Crosshair-Yes. Underwater-I mean, this could be useful, but just as a rule of thumb people tend to not go near water on maps like b5 in the first place. I guess neutral. Like it would be fine if it was added but it isn't totally necessary. Sprint-If you're suggesting for traitors only, it would be kind of overpowered, but maybe something in pointshop could be used to get the same effect.
Overpowered? they are already outnumber 4-1. Being able to run slightly faster wouldnt make it OP lmao
What about a t item you can buy for 2 credits in the t menu? the credit amount can obviously be changed around
Mp7 (one of the lowest ttk guns btw) Deathstation Heal (get out of jail card) Body Armor (reduces hs damage taken) Frag Spam (self explanatory) T Rooms (handful of traps, you can harpoon through it, etc) Insta Knife (mouse 1 to win) ??? it's already really easy to just go ham as a t, imagine some guy running around with an mp7 and then once he takes enough damage he can quickly run and heal up
Crosshair customization is back.. so +1 I guess lol I would rather just have a blue line that decreases for the drowning indicator that only shows up under water, just seems tidy instead of minecraft bubbles. I don't know what Pike means by people don't go near water, everytime i'm on B5, I hear, "He's in the water!". +1 The sprint seems interesting but not really needed. Seems a bit unnecessary. -1
