PROLOGUE: So we were on rivercliff today and wouldn't you know, some losers got exploded, and their bodies landed just out of bounds, beyond reach. Here's a screenie if you're into that kind of thing: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1299965800 (Katness was hitting on me in pm ) SUGGESTION: A "Reverse Discombobulator", (perhaps a DiscomJabbalator), the effect would be opposite to that of a discombobulator, and would instead pull bodies or props towards the spot of explosion. (Implosion?) This would have remedied my distraught state, as I was horrifically snipper-dippered upon taking my screenshot to provide an example for this suggestion. Imagine: Body outside reach, barely, toss down a DiscomJabbalator, pulls them within reach. Happy dance. Imagine: You're on magma. Loser is walking by the lava pit. You perfectly time a DiscomJabbalator to pull them towards the pit, ending their life in a hilarious fashion. (Obviously the same effect could be reached with a discombobulator but I digress.) The possibilities are endless. (As a rule, it should probably be KOSable to use, just as a discombobulator is.)
Or just call it a "Combobulator" cough https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=611224362 cough +1 there's also another addon with it as T & D item (normal is just T) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=899596448&searchtext=
Absolute +1. I really like the idea of a grenade that pulls people towards it, although it might be a little too OP on certain maps, so make sure the pull isnt too big.
My old community used to have something similar called a blackhole grenade. +1 to the idea if it could be done correctly. The largest issue it had was prop collision. Since everything is brought towards the grenade, it often caused prop collisions that would screw up the physics engine and cause the server to crash.
Sounds cool +1 Would like it, kinda make the game a bit more interesting But I feel as if people are gonna complain that die from it in the future and then get it removed or nerfed to the point where it's useless lmao.
My-oh-my, whatever gave you that idea? It's not like we have ever seen that happen before! Preposterous!
