m4a1 (or m4a4 i forget) kicks butt at close range and still dishes out good damage with accuracy at longer ranges when you use burst fire

 

I would probably go with m4a4. It’s fire rate is fast, the recoil isn’t too bad, and reload time is average.

 

AK has more DPS than Honey Badger, but also a lot more recoil. Honey Badger has virtually no recoil but still has decent DPS.

If you're good at hitting the head, HK416 is good at all ranges.

If you spray and pray, M4 carbine

If you're a try-hard, the HK-SL8

If you're playing on vanilla, the AK47

If you're bored of the game and just want to meme, the AWP is fun. Each bullet does 60 damage and it has a 10 round clip.

honey badger is super quiet and has decent recoil but below average damage so you need to pump as many bullets as you can into a target, its not very reliable compared to the ak but i love it bc it makes for a good discount mp7

ak47 on the other hand is a normie weapon and its bloody loud with recoil enough to double as ur mums vibrator on a thursday night but it has good punch and could take people out easily with just a few shots, thats if you can hit your target with the recoil

imo honey badger bc i have dignity

 

In terms of Vanilla: The post nerf AK47 no longer fairs well in Vanilla. I see the AUG, P90 and Galil gaining traction for donators.
And given the number of weapons on the modded servers I can't imagine how anyone can still view the AK47 as relevant. It's been nerfed out of the meta as far as I'm concerned.
