If possible, make a formal warning list similar to ban list which can be found on or near the ban list. This would probably require a way for staff to add/edit warnings but allows users to keep track of them better than private convos, as convos can be plentiful. Thanks
Since the new warnings will now be handled like RDM & Leave Offenses, it's actually useful to know the warning you have. +1
I agree I would like to know how many warnings I have and if there is a cool down time for a warning to dissappear.
Yes it'd be nice to know what warnings you have. However if people have the knowledge of when their warnings expire they'll use it to be toxic again when all they'll get is another warning. If it were to only show how many warnings you have it'd be okay.
M8 if I knew when my Statue of limitation expires, I wouldn't go RDM and Leave again. Just knowing what date and time like a normal ban doesn't make it more likely to happen again
You should be able to see your warnings only. Otherwise this is just going to give a tool for harassment. IE someone could harass them in private about "haha u cant even talk shit once or ur banned for a month"
My point is that you should be able to see your current standing on the forums just as you can see your standings on the servers.
I feel like a PM is warning enough. I highly doubt anyone here is "too flooded" with messages to see one with your warning included.
You initially see the warning, but over time as you get more messages the warning gets moved back further and further. I don't mean that you won't see it at all my dude
Ahh, well I mean, you could mark it down in your memory, or a notepad, or even a calendar event in your planner if you take these sorts of things that seriously. I'm not saying it is a bad idea by any means, it just seems like a bit of work for something that doesn't NEED to exist.
+1 you should be able to see your warnings AND the expiration date for them. This will not cause more harassment. You realize that once your warning expires, and you get another warning point, your expiration date extends longer and longer. There would be no point to harassing people directly after your warning point expires Also I apparently have 12 warning points, 2 of which are active. I have no idea when the fuck it expires, and I should be able to know. Not so that I can be toxic right after they do, because that's autistic, but because I need to know how bad I need to keep myself in check.
I like this, users should be able to keep track of there warnings especially when they can be from long periods. The ban list is helpful for users and I think this would follow its path. +1
Being able to see a collective of your personal warnings and SoL would be totally cool. Just yours, and not others, to be clear.
