Yeah, for some of the recipes I'll give it out in one serving portions and then ill just leave it to people to message me to have it multiplied, others like paellea (I think it's spelled like that) is just gonna be the huge recipe cause it is so complicated.

    Hey y'all,

Going off of @Mr. Disco 's request I'll start today off by giving a basic chicken recipe that is a base for many other recipes.

My family named it after our last name, but in order to keep some privacy we will call it Zyp's Chicken. ;)

So this recipe has gone through so many years that we don't have an exact recipe anymore and that we just eyeball the spices needed.

    The ingredients needed are

    Olive oil
    Salt
    Pepper
    Garlic powder
Chicken breast that is butterflied (cut in half long ways. Message me if you are confused)

So you start off by butterflying your chicken breast(s)
You then give them a relatively nice amount of salt, pepper, and garlic on one side. Also, turn your pan on to a medium heat, and give it a good amount of olive oil.
Once the olive oil is hot, place the chicken in spice side down, then give the other side the spices as well.
Cook it through, I find it a little hard to explain how it is done I'll go into more detail when I find a good way to explain.

As usual, if you have any questions feel free to ask, make suggestions, make a comment, whatever!

    @ALittleChewie

    You need:
    Ham,
2 (or more)American (preferably Kraft singles) cheese singles
2 slices of bread ( I like Honey wheat any brand)
    Butter(preferably salted)

    Simple as
    1. Heat the pan up to medium heat
    2. butter pan generously
    3. place one piece of bread down, then one piece of cheese, then one slice of ham, then one slice of cheese,
    4. repeat 3 until you have the amount you like.( I usually stick to 2 pieces of cheese and 1 slice of ham)
    5. place other slice of bread on top, let the bottom cheese melt a bit, the prepare to flip.
    6. place some more butter on the pan, and then flip the bread onto the uncooked bread slice, let the cheese melt a bit and the bread toast.
    7. take off pan and enjoy, maybe with tomato soup (WIP)

and for the side some simple tomato soup if you want, (WIP)
    you will need,

    Tomato sauce
    Water,
Garlic powder or garlic, (one or the other)
    Onion

Time to step it up with lemon chicken!

Now lemon chicken can be made 2 ways that I know. I'm gonna do the more basic one.

    Ingredients needed:
    1-2 Chicken breasts(butterflied)
    Lemon pepper
    Salt
    2-3Lemons
1/2 a cup of Lemon juice
    1/2 a cup of water
    Olive oil

(If you need help lowering proportions tell me!)

First heat a highwalled pan to medium heat with olive oil on it. We start off by basically making Zyp's chicken.Only with lemon pepper and salt. Only cook about half way, we want to more or less brown the chicken on a medium heat.

While cooking the chicken take your lemons, cut off the rinds and cut them into slices
After cooking all the chicken don't get rid of the pan, put the chicken back in the pan, put the lemon juice, water and lemons in.

Let it cook for about 20-30 mins, and it should be done!

If you know how to make rice this goes amazing with jasmine rice.
I will post a recipe for that asap.

Okay so here's how you cook. You don't follow recipes because fuck that shit. Wanna make Fettuccine Alfredo? Sure you fucking do, so get a pot, boil some Fettuccine noodles (if u wanna make your noodles homemade ask for the complex tutorial) then get a sauce pan, and throw in a stick of butter, some milk, not too much just put in a lil bit and see how it looks. then get some cream cheese, maybe like a couple spoon fulls and throw that shit in there, if u got any cream add cream instead of milk. mix it together, add Parmesan cheese stir and eat. if it is too thicc add milk or cream. if it is too runny add cream cheese and more Parmesan.

    thx

    (y)

you should make it. no joke this isn't a crap post, this is how I cook. lmao it turns out great every time.

O.O I would love to share some recipes but I was/am a cook, was professionally and still love to cook at home. If I find some recipes to share I will, but my home recipes stay with me. One I will share, sort of, is my meat loaf. So 4-5 years ago I made a recipe for meatloaf, I integrated bacon :3 Note to use low sodium bacon, for regular bacon makes it too salty but still good. Make it just like you would any good meatloaf recipe (aka no freaking oatmeal as the bonding agent!!!!!), cook or partially cook the bacon until done or close to finished then mix into the meatloaf mixture. Bake in the oven and done! (sounds just like just a small twist but I don't let my recipes go)

If I can ever find a recipe I used once for single serve pot pies I'd love to share that, the recipe I used to make was just "melt in your mouth screw what ever else is food this was a pie to replace all food" type of meal and now I'm hungry ty thread...

Made Alfredo sauce the other day and there isn't a single common ingredient between what I did and what you did, except the cheese

First of all, I used heavy cream (1 and 1/2 cup), not just straight milk. Next, added a few cloves if garlic until simmering. Remove the garlic and add parmesan cheese to desired thickness. Add salt and definitely pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and add finely chopped Italian parsley

Garnish with fresh parsley and shredded parm, along with chicken if you desire.

It's based on what I like. I've made the dish several times. Here's the recipe broken down; MILK - and CREAM CHEESE work together. The cream cheese is my idea and it works great. I haven't made up an exact ratio, but basically I use it to make it thicker because we used straight up milk. The butter ads flavor, oils, and also more fat. And then for the Parmesan to add that Alfredo taste everyone knows and loves. You can use garlic, I don't, most restaurants don't unless you ask for it.

I made this recipe up after making the dish around 30 times. I got tired of it being a "special dish" because we don't keep heavy whipping cream around. Everyone has milk, and cream cheese is easy to buy in bulk, and lasts way longer than heavy whipping cream. Everyone has butter, and usually someone has Parmesan cheese for pizza, but most of the time you use a whole 8 oz can.

This isn't an ideal way of making it, but I find that I get the same flavor. My ideal recipe would be: A few pinches of salt & pepper, heavy cream, butter, and then the Parmesan cheese. (you can also add Romano cheese, and garlic, but that's based off personal taste.)

Probably wouldn't like that sauce that much without butter. Butter ads that extra taste to it. And I don't like mine with garlic. I actually hate it with garlic. I don't mind garlic, but I just don't like this dish with garlic. (y) But ya know that's just nitpicking.

But I love this dish, I make my noodles from scratch. I use this recipe I've formed because I pretty much get the same taste as any other Alfredo sauce.

    Cheers man.

you don't use flower to make a roux first? Recipe would probably be less cheesy and a little more balanced if you used as much flour as you did butter. i usually do 1/4cup butter and 1/4cup flour and 2 cups milk/ 2 cups cheese for like 16-20oz of noodles. That way it thickens up without using as much cheese. i needa try it with some cream cheese too, bet it makes the flavor much richer.
