What the title says. Talk about anything Battlefront, and post your gameplay to share with others if you want.
Gonna try and stream the Beta, not much experience streaming, though... https://www.twitch.tv/daddynexxus
Games with: @Machinekiller00 @Hyper @Spooky Nexxus and myself. Make sure to check out Nexxus's video as well. That is how intense the gamemode Strike can be.
Having not played the first battlefront, some things are mildly confusing to me but I'm having fun with it
Here is me and Daddy Nexxus playing again. They have changed a lot about space battles and star fighters in general. Far more enjoyable than the previous game.
Honestly can't quite put my finger on what I don't like about the game... but something doesnt sit right with me, yeah its pretty and all but the whole lootbox giving upgrades on ability is kinda shitty and something in general just eh... I see the PC playerbase dropping on launch much like the original and titanfalls.
Didn't really fully play the beta, so idk if I wanna get it though, cause man it looks good. But I'm worried bout a repeat BF1 yano? Whoever played the beta (and I mean all the gamemodes that were available) how was it?
what about the ranking and such? Yano like when people have better weps than you, are they queued with people at the similar levels?
The point system is now a lot better. Now you need to actually do something to get that sweet dark maul to play as. You can't just camp some hero pickup spawnpoint. The crates were awesome. During the beta they cost 1100, 1100 and 1000. (3 different crates) and from 1 game you get 180 when first, 150 when 2nd or 3rd. So the better you do at the game, the better you will be rewarded. If you got a duplicate, it would just add 1 level to the existing card. So.. the classes. There were 4 and each of them had different abilities and "jobs". Like heavy was a close to mid range dude with a machine gun. Assault was really good at close range. Officer was a supportive guy good at close range. Specialist is good at long and close range, specialist has a sniper and this infiltrator ability, which gives you a close range gun for some time. So none of them are really 2 op. Depends on the play style you like
The star fighter gamemode was super fun with different objectives and several ships. I did not enjoy star fighter squadron in the first game but this is a huge improvement. The controls aren’t trash like before as well. Glactic assault is the gamemode with large scale maps that supports ships and ground vehicles. I’m sure that could change depending on the map. The objective based style of playing is pretty fun and can get intense. I’m sure objectives will vary depending on the map. Lastly is strike and surprisingly with only 8 on 8 battles they are probably more intense than glactic assault since it is more of a capture the flag gamemode. The version that was in the in the beta had the first order trying to deliver a artifact to a ship while the resistance attempts to stop them. The way points work is pretty good. The more kills and more you focus on the objectives the more points you get which you can put towards special units and ships. This is used on all the gamemodes. I suggest watching the videos posted they should give you a good idea of how the game is.
