No, no no no no!

Now listen, Discord has all the looks on the front end, but the back end is so limited. A couple of examples listed with the bullets below

• If the discord server goes down, you go down
• Less customization (No rank badges for moderators, admins, etc.)
• No custom channel descriptions or art
• Going with the point above a bit, you must have a voice room and a text room. You can't have 1 channel that has both.
• It can get cluttered with the points above
• You can't create your own channels for people to join
• You can't directly "Poke" someone (This could be abused in TS but you would just get banned). To get someone's attention you would need to have them added on discord or on steam to PM
• No Overwolf sport for overlaying; may not know who is talking without having a second monitor and discord open
• If we go for replacing the shoutbox completely (If we do switch to discord, which I REALLY don't want to happen) and I'm a new user on SGM and don't have a discord account, why do I need to link my discord to use something based on the forums? The shoutbox, under any and all circumstances (IMO) should stay and NOT be replaced by discord. I don't want to link my Discord to my forums just so I can use some discord chat when Tagi Chat works just fine.
• I don't like pulling emotion strings for points/facts but the memories people had on Teamspeak

I can go on and on, but I will let people look over those as those are the main points.

P.S. If you didn't read through that whole thing, at least read my second to last bullet. It is probably one of the most I am passionate about.

actually, discord does have an overlay. and, you're not supposed to use overwolf on gmod. actaully broke my game and made me reinstall it. i went to facepunch and they told me NO overwolf.
