    When you say time, I believe you're saying "1 - 2 seconds"

No. Up to 5 seconds for some. The amount of time it takes you to do something is not the amount of time it takes everyone else to do that thing.

i think its a bit bad the rules can cater to slower players. Can't players do a magical thing called "adapting" to the faster pace in a situation

It shouldn't take 5 seconds to recognize a body that was just IDed is an inno/traitor.

    But it does.

The extreme length the player gets to kill someone after identifying a body only builds bad habits. If it were to be reduced to 3 seconds, it'll only help the players be better with the cost of some slays (some staff are really lenient towards the duration of this rule so ya)

I've had problems with this rule, but the people who have killed me were completely unaware of this rule.

It kind of pisses me off when I place a KOS in chat and voice chat and I go to kill that person and I get shot at afterwards.
I don't see this time being changed, and even if it is, 3 seconds will help me only a tad bit because I go and kill in the open instead of getting the T is an enclosed area.

  10. Honestly this seems to boil down as to whether or not you want the person slayed or not, because that's the only thing that will change with this decrease; more slays.

I, for one, am more willing to forgive players that RDM me, especially in the heat of a firefight, but I know that most don't do or feel the same way and I understand that.

Personally I don't feel a need to lower the time because it won't fix the original issue, the killing of player A by player C, but only create more reports and slays and future issues.

To strike at the core of the issue I suggest a new rule addition along the lines of "if there have been 2-3 KOSes on the originally killed player (Player B), then the killing of the KOS follower (Player A) will be RDM, and negate the current Grace Period rule for Player C."

Maybe someone else can word it better, but I'm basically saying that if it can be proven that the person killed was called out two or three times, the grace period safety net no longer applies to the RDMer, and they get slayed no matter how long after the ID of the body.

That rule addition will cause less people to be so quick to RDM a now proven player, or one that was following a KOS, and they will no longer have the grace period to protect them.

  12. I like this proposal in theory (at some point in a round KOSes become common knowledge) but in practice it's sometimes hard to see who's who, who's shooting at who, etc. Instinct is always going to be to shoot who's shooting at someone else, and with Ts calling false KOSes or people repeating their own KOSes when you might not remember who initially called it, depending on the definition of the number of KOSes called this could lead to more confusion.

If you have a reaction time that slow you would suck at this game. *someone shoots another guy that was kosed* 1…2...3...4...5 *oh yeah! He just shot a guy!* that is way too long of a time it should be at least 2 seconds maybe 3

Here's some clarification. If I am not mistaken, the 5 seconds applies from the time the killer kills someone to the time you kill the killer. So someone just died, it may take you 5 seconds to kill the person before realizing that he killed a traitor. **CORRECT ME IF I AM MISTAKEN**

    5 seconds from identifying body.

so you could snipe someone 20 secs ago, then go id body and then you could be killed, if your killer saw you kill that guy, but didn't act immediately.

    correct me if i'm wrong.

i do suck at this game.

After refreshing on the extended rules:
    • There is a 5 second grace period after killing and identifying a T where, if killed in this time, the accused player will not be punished for killing the proven player (5 seconds accounts for the confusion there might be).

That just seems like the golden rule for people that want to rdm and get away with it
