What did y'all do with/for your mothers today? For me, I don't live with my biological mom, so I called her this morning of course I also sent her a gardening apron she's been interested in. She just started gardening in her new house I also sent a retractable dog leash, so she can let them run around ahead while keeping a close eye on them
My parents are divorced. I called my mother and argued about politics with her (Because she's a crazy ass Mother, Literally.) We didn't talk for the rest of the day.
I went to a homestyle restaurant with my family and had a shitload of mashed potatoes, fried chicken, gravy, noodles, biscuits, crackers and dessert! granted it was 23 dollars per person but my mothers love is priceless
I said "Happy Mothers Day!" and got questioned as to why I did for a couple of minutes until I decided to give up and pretend as if I didn't. Could've warned the Brits....
Mothering Sunday isn't Mother's Day smh It even says it in the article you linked "It is increasingly being called Mother's Day, although that has always been a secular event quite different from the original Mothering Sunday." Pls read ur articles carned https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother's_Day
IF IT WAS THE SAME DAY WE WOULDN'T BE HAVING THIS ARGUMENT OML CARNED PLS Make your own Mothering Sunday thread next March if you care so much
I got her a necklace she has been wanting and I cleaned the house today! Trust me when you live with 3 younger siblings who don't know how to clean, it's one hell of an accomplishment
