First, I would like to thank you for all your support throughout the last couple of months. There are times where I needed a good laugh in Teamspeak. Also, you should never come to Michigan; there are countless spiders roaming the streets. Additionally, I decided to create a masterpiece for you. You may not be leaving, but I still want to keep in touch with you. Things aren't going to be the same. Spoiler: Masterpiece #1 Spoiler: Masterpiece #2
Oh wow. I've only ever seen you when you were an active staff member. I'll never forget the day you gave me a 2nd chance I probably didnt deserve. Your term was short, but you had an impact.
I was told this was coming, but I didn't want to believe it. I'm struggling to find the words needed to properly thank you for everything you have given to this community. Although we've probably only ever spoken to each other maybe twice, I hope to still see your face around here just as often. Take care, CD.
Thank you for making this place part of what it is today CD. All I can say is that while ive been part of this community you have been THE best Lead Administrator you could be. You have been dedicated to molding it into a better place, and I am truly thankful for what you have done here. Just dont leave us hanging Big Guy, I expect to see you around here often. Stay safe man -Kyle
CDriscoll, We agreed on certain things; especially in the height of discussions but sometimes the ability to make change doesn't always present itself. As you didn't go into detail I wont too and I don't know what power Advisers have, but I hope it's enough to still push for change. You are a cool guy CDriscoll, there's no doubt you will be missed but you're not really leaving so I'll see you soon.
Thanks for everything you do here. Sorry I turned into a shit head back in June, but I'm glad we could maintain our friendship. Looking forward to RDMing you since advisers can't slay.
I spoke to you about once overall, but it was fine. You've done a great job getting this far! You're a great guy, I believe you'll only be able to help continue SGM to become better than itself. Wishing you the best in your future position as Advisor!
Never one without the other. I believe it was back in April you asked me if I had ever considered applying for a staff position, and I had told you I would consider applying sometime in the summer. Well, I'm glad I did. As my admin and lead admin, but more importantly one of my best friends, you helped me grow and I have nothing but thankfulness for that. I'd say we go together better than peas and carrots. You've made my time here on the staff team Whether it be calling each other punk bitches or just talking in tangents, there was never a dull moment. I suppose we let the good times roll. Your time here won't go unnoticed. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it.
Oh, this is not something I expected to wake up to.While we've never really talked one on one you always seemed like someone with the servers best interests at heart. I wish you the best and hope to still see you around on the forums. Best of luck in your endeavors.
You did a great job as a lead admin and I am sad to see you go. On the bright side, you can do good things for the community as an advisor. See you around.
It may be the end of era, but never will it be the end of a friendship. You old dog you. If there's one thing Old CD has shown us it's how close a community can bring people together. Yeah, @Cake may have gotten what she wanted, but she will never know the friendships you've created within this community. Friendships that will last through any hardships. You were the Admin that proved worthy of influencing me in a way I never thought anyone else could. And I hoped with every action I made, I'd make my Admin proud. Sure once I resigned we lost some contact, but that will never change how we know each other. Thank you for the 2+ years you put into all of us. It wasn't for nothing and you've made such an impact here. You'll never be forgotten as the best Staff member I've known. Toodles @CDriscoll
I remember back when I first joined SGM. You were one of those staff members that I looked up to; When I came back a few months ago, I can't say I was surprised to see you in orange. I wasn't here for most of the things you did for the community, and I never got to know you very well, but it seems to me that you've been highly involved in making this community a better place. I wish I got the chance to know you better, and hopefully that's able to change sometime in the future. Thanks for the years that you've put in for this community; I'm sure even with your resignation, you'll be an integral part of this community and making it better. Hope things go well for you in the future.
One of the people I have known for the longest amount of time. I've seen you grow from a regular, to a little baby T mod that mass rdmed the server. Then our mod skype days where we played plenty of l4d2. To the time you came back and got admin shortly after. Seeing you get lead admin. It was a crazy ride for sure. I appreciate you giving me the chance to be your admin. Also helping me out plenty of times that I needed it. I understand your decision and It sucks to see you go. But I know you'll still be around. Thanks for everything CD
