Accepted Sort the TAB menu by player name instead of Score...

A lot of times I go to mark someone as FRIEND or mark them as KILL, but I can't for the life of me find their damn name in the TAB menu. Often, while I search for their name I am murdered.

At the moment, it seems like the TAB menu is sorted by Score, which might make sense for other game types, but doesn't make sense for TTT.

Is it possible to sort the TAB menu alphabetically by player name instead of Score? If so, I think the Owner should make this change.

This is easily possible, but the problem is those special characters won't be included, unless there's some binary code for them....

 

In that case, everyone with special characters at the beginning of their name will just be first on the list, which would make sense anyway

The amount of times, I wanted to mark someone as Friend/Kill in the tab, but I couldn't find their name. And then later in the round they kill me because I forgot to mark them as Kill... >:C

 

I've been playing around with this today. Instead of just sorting by name, I've went ahead and added sorting by Score, Karma, and Deaths as well.

By default it is sorted by name:


Clicking on the column labels will cycle through sorting for that column.

Feel free to mark this post Old, but I'd rather be graded Old than to be told off with "use the search box next time" then be marked Dumb when I make a thread about it.

I just strongly feel about this suggestion so I'll go ahead and bump it. My exact idea is to "have an option of sorting it by different parameters such as NAME, SCORE, DEATHS, and KARMA (not just changing it to by name by default)". Not demanding to have all options readily available in one patch but going slow and steady by starting with sort by name is very much appreciated.
