Give your opinion is this red

recently there has been a debate in the shoutbox on wether or not these colours are red or Orange

Depends on what monitor You look at, the second picture clearly is orange if I view it on my full HD screen and Looks redish on my other screen.

The first one looks Brown Red dark. And color itself is called Brown.

 

This makes no sense as the one on the left is Red but the one on the right is Orange, but I can only vote Red or Orange for both???

I don't really see the point in this thread many shades of orange are quite close to red that's why sometimes we may consider it to be red. Not everyone has amazing monitors or phones so if the colour is close to red don't use it unless its something important.

 

This is absolutely uneeded and pathetic.

No need to make a post about the colour; staff have said its fine. End of.

 

Red is red and orange is orange.

Example: The color of the text "locked" below is red.

Locked.

 

Thankfully I majored in color identification and got my doctorate in "Analysis of Pretty Colors."



This is what we commonly refer to as red. It's red, similar to the color red.



This is what is popularly known as the "Orange" fruit, but it is widely known for the fact that it is orange.

Red and orange are two separate colors.
